Even everyday tasks can be performed more easily with handicapped aids, such as bathtubs with a door so that there is less worry of slips and falls when exiting the tub. Bath chairs are another type of accessory. The type of handicapped products you need should be explained to you by your doctor. Your medical professional can diagnose your condition, treat it if possible and advise you of things that will make you more comfortable and mobile. Your doctor should also be able to recommend a medical supply store from where you can obtain the accessories you need. In many cases, disabled equipment is covered under one's health insurance plan.
